General terms of use

1. Purpose

These General Terms of Use (hereafter «Terms») govern access to and use of the My Swiss Career service (hereafter the «Service»), provided by Swiss Career Sàrl(hereafter the «Publisher»).

The Service is a tool that supports job-hunting in Switzerland: AI evaluation of job postings, generation of tailored cover letters and CVs, decoding of work certificates, scanning of job portals.

2. Acceptance

Using the Service implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept all or part of these Terms, you must refrain from using the Service.

3. User account

Access to personalised features (CV upload, evaluations, application packages, personal documents) requires the creation of an account. You agree to:

  • provide accurate information when registering;
  • keep your login credentials confidential;
  • notify the Publisher without delay of any unauthorised use of your account;
  • comply with applicable laws when using the Service.

4. Service description

The Service includes in particular:

  • automated evaluation of job postings with an A-G report;
  • generation of application packages (cover letter, email, adapted CV);
  • PDF export with several customisable CV templates;
  • decoding of Swiss work certificates (Arbeitszeugnis);
  • scanning of Swiss job aggregators (Adzuna, jobs.ch, jobup.ch);
  • application pipeline management.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided «as is». The Publisher does not guarantee:

  • obtaining a job following use of the Service;
  • the absolute accuracy of the analyses and recommendations produced by artificial intelligence;
  • uninterrupted availability of the Service (maintenance, technical incidents);
  • the truthfulness or legitimacy of third-party job postings referenced;
  • the results of calls to third-party providers (Gemini, Anthropic, Adzuna) which may evolve or be unavailable.

You acknowledge that AI-generated content is indicative and must be reviewed / corrected before any submission to an employer. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for a decision taken on the basis of an automated result.

6. Pricing

Use of the Service is: free during the beta phase (a freemium pricing model will be communicated before any billing) (to be specified: free, paid, freemium, etc.). Where applicable, payment and subscription termination terms are detailed in a separate price list available upon request.

7. Intellectual property

You retain intellectual-property ownership over content you upload (CV, certificates, letters, etc.). You grant the Publisher a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the time required for processing by the Service and its technical sub-processors (cf. privacy policy).

The Publisher retains ownership of all elements that make up the Service: source code, interface, prompts, CV templates, taxonomy of domains and archetypes.

8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for fraudulent, illegal or immoral purposes;
  • circumvent security or authentication mechanisms;
  • attempt to access data that is not intended for you;
  • generate bulk low-quality applications with the intent to spam employers;
  • resell, reproduce or redistribute the Service or its content without express authorisation.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your user area («My data» page). Deletion entails removal of your personal data within the timeframes set out in the privacy policy.

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of the Terms, with reasonable prior notice except in emergencies justified by security.

10. Changes to the Terms

The Publisher may amend the Terms at any time. Substantial changes will be notified by email or by banner on the site. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vaud (Suisse), subject to any imperative provisions to the contrary (in particular consumer law for users domiciled abroad).
